Take one part Ashley Inn, one part Beautiful day, one part Japan, and one part America, then mix it all together and you get an incredibly colorful and excellent time!  I had never shot such a small and intimate wedding before, but I loved how it made it so relaxed, family focused, and all about the couple.  To see how wonderfully family’s from across the world joined together was a sight to see.   Sure, Andy and Kaori had already made their covenant official, but it was important to them to have the family ceremony and make sure they were all a part of their relationship.  Big thanks to Meagan at the Ashley Inn B & B for connecting  me with such an awesome couple and facilitating the whole deal.  (www.ashleyinnbandb.com)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ve managed to make it this long without doing a maternity shoot, but that time must end.  Scott and Jenna are so relaxed and fun, I couldn’t resist getting to hang out with them for a while before I do their newborn shoot in probably about a week, considering she is due pretty much anytime now.  I half expected her to have to go straight to the hospital from the shoot.  It would have been super convenient though, seeing how we were right behind the hospital at the arboretum!  Boy was the arboretum perfect though! I need to get several more of you all out there soon to do some pictures before all these AMAZING flowers fall from the trees.  Give Jenna some encouragement in the comment section below. She needs it for what she is about to do. Maybe leave some for Scott too
